Stockholm subway - a true work of art!

Solna Centrum Tunnelbana, Stockholm subway station, Sweden

This is probably the most photographed escalator from Stockholm Metro - Solna Centrum Tunnelbana or Rådhuset. However, the whole stretch of line 11 from Kungsträdgården to Akalla is worth seeing, as each station was designed by artists - Really worth seeing and not as gloomy as other metro stations around the world.

The Stockholm subway is much more than just a means of transportation - it is a true work of art! Artists from all over the world have transformed the stations of the Stockholm subway into impressive art galleries. Each station is unique and tells its own story through impressive murals, sculptures and installations.

The variety of artworks ranges from abstract paintings to surreal motifs and socially critical messages. Whether you're in the T-Centralen station, the heart of the metro, or in one of the more distant stations like Solna Centrum, the Stockholm Metro is a feast for the eyes. The combination of practical transportation and fascinating art makes the Stockholm Metro a unique experience that fascinates and inspires visitors and local artists.
