Based on the bikes of that time, Bud Ekins is the name giver, because he was also a TRIUMPH man from the very beginning and owned the largest American TRIUMPH subsidiary in California. In addition to interesting details, the bikes convince with the highest quality workmanship and an exclusive tank design with a striking „Flying Globe“ logo, a historic TRIUMPH tank logo and Bud Ekins logos on the sides as well as a special paint finish on the front wing with the „Flying Globe“ logo. In addition to their unique paint finish, the T120 and T100 Bud Ekins Special Editions have a host of premium details that make them really special.

Both motorbikes feature advanced technology, with safety always at the forefront. These include powerful and torquey Bonne Ville high-torque twin-cylinder engines with 80 hp (T120) and 55 hp (T100), a special chassis and suspension set-up for relaxed everyday riding – alone or with a pillion passenger – and an original styling inspired by the legendary 59 Bonneville with stylish details and features.

The Bonneville special editions have been available since March 2020 and are in great demand. Mechanical engineer Oliver Willand, Head of Marketing TRIUMPH Motorcycles Germany: „The machines are already sold out with many dealers, but with a little luck you can still find some rarities.

I was one of the lucky ones in Switzerland who was able to buy the last new Bonneville T100 Bud Ekins at Motorbike in Chur. Only 1000 of this special edition were produced worldwide. A rarity and a fantastic bike for the mountains in Graubünden.
